Vietnam Viet-Nam National order of Vietnam Grand Cross medal First Class with Sash.
Established in 1950 and awarded to any persons, both Vietnamese, Americans, or foreign, living or dead, for outstanding accomplishments in duty or bravery, or lofty virtues or, their unsurpassed knowledge.
Intended for the most senior officers and officials of both Vietnam, America and its allies. Sash is worn on left shoulder. Medal is about 3 1/2 inches from top to bottom. The round badge is about 2 1/2 inches across. Sash is 4 inches wide by 64 inches all the way around.
The second scan shows the same medal removed from the sash. It attaches with a clasp.
