Purple Heart in WWII Case with ribbon bar and lapel pin.
Case, ribbon bar and lapel pin are WWII Vintage.
The medal itself is of a more recent vintage and not WWII. Pin assembly on the medal is like the current medals have. Still a nice set.
Case has the usual imperfections that come with these 70 year old cases. The padding inside of the case appears to have been taken out at one time. It does not fit perfectly anymore around the edges. Looks better than it sounds. Sorry I only have a flat bed scanner so cannot attach a scan.
Lapel pin has been repaired but in my opinion still looks good sitting in the case. Ribbon bar is fine.
