Full size WW2 WWII US Silver Star medal in case with ribbon bar and one piece lapel pin. Case is the old style "coffin" case with "SILVER STAR MEDAL" on it.
Excellent condition.
Also comes with some WWII Japanese invasion money, WWII US Stamps including the "Win the War" stamp, and a flag patch.
Reverse of medals has "FOR GALLANTRY IN ACTION".
Pin assemby on reverse of medal is the sew on type.
Ribbon bar is the straight pin type. It is one of the zinc pin assemblies so it may date to 1943. All the brass was removed from about everything to go to the war effort. They also removed the brass from the one cent coins that year so we have the steel wheat cents as they are often called dated 1943.
